About

As a holder of a B.A. in English, storytelling, strategy, and analysis are naturally at the heart of many of my professional efforts. In addition to putting my background to good use, Iʼm also a fan of pop culture and a hearty German breakfast (aka Brotzeit, or, “Bread time”), which is native to Germany — just like yours truly. I snapped a picture while visiting family near Munich in 2015 which encapsulates these twin passions nicely, if I may be so bold (and brave). Scroll down to check it out.

Content I’ve contributed to creatively has been chosen for a Vimeo Staff Pick, and has been ranked top-10 in national internal voting at a corporation. (You can read more about that here.) I experienced working in the environment of (and creating media for) one of the largest asset managers in the world before I’d graduated college, receiving commendations from leadership for quality and teamwork along the way, and my professional journey has led to me finding myself in the same room and/or interfacing with pediatric cancer patients, world-famous film directors, actors, entertainers and authors, MLB players, a Hall of Fame broadcaster, college president, US congressman, Miss America contestant, and even a small-town restaurant entrepreneur. My personal background spans continents, multiple languages, and cultures. I have been published as a writer dozens of times and founded or co-founded multiple projects and businesses.

I’m currently searching for an opportunity that will allow me to apply my experience in a strategic, analytical, creative and/or leadership capacity.

Other things about me:

I like to play tennis. My serve is probably especially rusty-looking these days as a semi-retired ultra-amateur, but, I’d say it used to be pretty solid. I also think VR tennis helped me improve my toss in real life. No, really. I swear on Naomi Osaka’s butterfly.

Here’s a link to the official site of a school I attended for a year. While I mostly grew up in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area, I lived in Germany until about second grade, have aforementioned family there, visit fairly regularly, and have continued being a student of its culture and language; I suspect that time will always be something that I carry with me.

In January 2020, just before the pandemic made traveling practically a rarity, I flew to Las Vegas to see art by the person who drew this. He signed a copy for me and shook my hand. Yes, I’ve washed that hand since (quite a bit, come to think of it…). Lately, a movie he’s made has been doing well.
