York University
I provided UI feedback for an interactive research study from York University, based in Toronto, Canada.
The Brickery
Based in Newport on the Levee near Cincinnati, Ohio, The Brickery Cafe & Play is the first LEGO-themed cafe in the United States. In 2024, I offered its owners consultation/feedback on its homepage and social media, including recommending adding introductory copy.
Vital Polymers
I’ve provided consultation and implementation in the areas of UI, strategy, and copy for the digital initiatives of Vital Polymers, including for their wesbite redesign. (www.vitalpolymers.com).
Dakota County Technical College
I recommended video equipment to DCTC’s marketing department in an effort to improve their output.
Butler Community College
Leading into the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked in a highly consultative, full-time in-house role with Butler Community College, chiefly assisting them with modernizing and standardizing their marketing department’s video output, as well as tightening up some other digital initiatives. Sluggers
Finding myself in a small town, I helped “Sluggers,” a recently-opened, locally-owned diner with its social media, signage, SEO, and more.
Kansas Main Street
l connected with a “Kansas Main Street” chapter, offering input, occasionally acting as a conduit between it and other organizations and helped local small businesses with things like optimizing their Google business profiles and social media. I also helped a local mental health nonprofit find a web hosting service that would allow it to host a wordpress site for free if they’d wish in order for them to create a more succinct/friendly URL and have more control over their online presence.
Iowa State University Extension and Outreach
I provided the marketing manager of Iowa State University’s Extension and Outreach office some guidance in the realm of video editing and grading at his request.
