Brand and Organizational Digital Content
I’ve contributed to organizations and brands in various capacities. These have included, among others:
Paid and Organic Social Media | Creative Concepting | Branding | Consulting | Video Training | Video Production | Photography | Strategy/Content Strategy | Copywriting and editing | UX/UI | Marketing campaign themes and assets | Journalism/PR/Blogging/Research and Info Verification
Late 2019-Present
Since late 2019 and into 2024, I’ve been consulting for organizations throughout North America; (for examples, click on the image or here.)
Shhh, don’t tell anyone but I’ve been developing a couple of top secret projects during this time range, too; click on the image or here for a sneak peek.
Beginning in June of 2020, I also returned part of my attention to SightContent (you can scroll down to see more about my original time with it, including in Los Angeles, lower on this page); I’ve since relaunched and managed the website, posted on social media, and worked with external organizations, both nearby at the time and remotely, to help their digital initiatives. (www.sightcontent.com.)
I updated SIghtContent’s homepage for mobile and desktop for 2024.
A previous homepage redesign from 2023.
A recent post I made on X.
Through SightContent, I helped external organizations (mainly surrounding local businesses, but in one case, remote) with their digital initiatives, including TikTok page creation and content, ad creation and campaign management (TikTok for Business), copywriting, Facebook and Instagram post content, social media planning/management, content strategy, Google Business/SEO, and LinkedIn ad copywriting and concepting (click on any image below to expand and launch viewer):

(Butler Community College): From 2019-2020 I influenced or managed distribution and organization/overall strategy of digital assets on (and created content for) various channels, including YouTube, Instagram, Vimeo, Snapchat, TikTok, and Facebook in Butler Community College’s marketing department. Here’s a live example. (To read about about the video refresh I did, click here.) (butlercommunitycollege.edu)
I spearheaded an update to BCC’s YouTube strategy; on the left is roughly what the YouTube page looked like before I started, and on the right is what it resembles today: organized with subcategories and with the main welcome video on the forefront, autoplaying and greeting visitors upon page load.
I can now cross “social media interaction with a Miss America contestant” off my bucket list: the reigning Miss Kansas (2019/2020) stopped by Butler and posted this photo, as well as a question about the origin of the sculpture… I made sure the shoutout didn’t go
unrewarded, leveraging resources to answer her as soon as possible (an artist and art enthusiast, she’s since edited her original caption to include the name of the sculpture and artist as mentioned above).
Responding to another student worker’s suggestion, I supervised and helped foster a safe environment for experimentation for a first-year design-oriented student worker’s process of overhauling BCC’s instagram highlights from start to finish, helping him build confidence and improving the outward appearance of the profile in doing so.
I helped edit copy for landing pages like this… …and press releases like this.
An example of copy I wrote for a YouTube video I produced.
I suggested making the BCC bear mascot, “Grizzwold,” a larger part of social media and marketing efforts.
I shot photos for various applications during my time at BCC.
(To read about the video refresh I did, as well as related content I made, click here or on the image above.)
(SightContent): My initial time with SightContent (between 2014 and 2019) allowed me step out of my comfort zone and take initiative with various projects while gaining other intangible experience I deem valuable. This included working with designers on branding and website layout, content creation, social media, and more (www.sightcontent.com).
In addition to producing videos, I collaborated with designers in various brand-applicable scenarios (seen above for SightContent’s branding, also visible on vimeo.com/sightcontent.
I guided the site embed process for “Lighthouse of the Sky” (after producing it) for Cincinnatiobservatory.org
I made posts on and analyzed/tracked SightContent’s social media.

MLB player Todd Frazier with a foundation client in a screencap from a Cincinnati Reds/Dragonfly Foundation recap video I produced and photographed content for.

(campbellmedia.org): I wrote original scripts, concepted equipment/training promos, trained the public on equipment use, worked in a studio, shot/created lots of content, and handled equipment reservations/checkouts at PEG station Campbell Media.
(Oogi Visual): I acted as primary copywriter (including scripts and legal/formation/contract) and secondary videographer/director of photography for Cincinnati-based agency Oogi Visual, a collective making videos for businesses and startups, as well as producing cinematic wedding presentations.
(Campbell County Public Library): While working in the Campbell County Public Library system between 2010 and 2011, I was invited to join the inaugural Social Media Committee to help launch a social media presence. As the youngest member, I collaborated with more senior staff to bring the system’s web presence into the 21st century. You can click here , here, and here to see what they’re up to today.
(Fidelity Investments): While at Fidelity Investments, I created both some tongue-in-check marketing content that made waves in-house, as well as straightforward, corporate-style videos.
